Mr. John Jirik Elementary Principal Tower-Soudan School jjirik@isd2142.k12.mn.us 218-753-4040 ext 6301  Hello. I have been employed with St. Louis County Schools since 1991. I began my journey at ISD 2142 as a Social Studies Teacher, Head Football Coach and Assistant Basketball at the Orr High School. While still in Orr, I became the Dean of Students/Athletic Director and kept my coaching assignments. When our district consolidated, I became the Dean of Students/Athletic Director at North Woods and continued to be a Head Football coach. I also was a Peer Coach for our teaching staff throughout my years at North Woods. In 2020-2021, I accepted the Principal position at the Tower-Soudan Elementary School and continue to work as the Principal at Tower-Soudan. I currently hold a Bachelor of Science degree in Social Studies, a Master's degree in Educational Leadership and an Educational Specialist (EDS) degree.
